General Terms and Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions of sale ("Terms and Conditions") applicable to sales of products and services by EcoNet Controls Inc. doing business as EcoNet (hereinafter "EcoNetShop.com") or any and all use of the www.EcoNetShop.com website by the site user or buyer ("You" or "Customer"). These terms shall govern the sale of EcoNet Products, Services and the support thereof. EcoNet expressly rejects any conflicting, standard, pre-printed or additional terms set forth in Customer's order or as otherwise referenced by Customer and in no event shall such terms or conditions apply to EcoNet's sale of Products or Services to Customer unless expressly agreed to in a separate written agreement signed by both EcoNet and Customer.

Acceptable Payment Methods

EcoNet Controls Inc. accepts payments using Visa, Mastercard or Paypal. We also accept purchase orders and can provide Net 15 day terms on credit approval.

SHIPPING & DAMAGE CLAIMS

We will ship by our choice of courier, typically DHL or via Mail/Post based on the address, contents and order size. In some cases such as oversize/overweight shipments or remote locations we may require additional payment for shipping, in which case we will notify you prior to shipping.

Please let us know if us of any shipping damage or missing items within 24 hours of receiving the package and be sure to keep all original packaging and shipping materials. You may be asked to provide photos of the shipment/items. Notification beyond 24 hours may result in the claim being denied.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

We attempt to be as accurate as possible, however we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on this site is error-free. If a product offered is not as described, please contact our support department and provide details of the issue/s and we will do our best to make things right. Prices, sale prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit coupons and discounts. Unless otherwise posted, order discounts, discount codes, coupons and sale prices are valid only while posted and may end without notice. We reserve the right to correct errors and omissions. In the case of an error, additional freight required or verification required we will contact you prior to shipping the order. Orders are not binding until reviewed, accepted and invoiced. Images on our site are for illustration only - products may not be exactly as shown.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EcoNet will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or products purchased from this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages. Econet does not accept any additional liability with respect to the purchase, use, operation or failure of products sold beyond our standard warranty. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

JURISDICTION

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with the user of this site, products purchased from this site or anything relating to business conducted with EcoNet shall be Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

By using and/or placing orders on this site, you agree in full to our terms and conditions presented on this page.

Your satisfaction is important to us and we make will make extra efforts to meet your expectations. If for some reason our products or services don’t meet your expectations, please contact us direct via email to support@econetcontrols.com. EcoNet offers a 30 day money back guarantee on your purchase. Prior to returning any item(s), please fill out our return request form to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Returns MUST be pre-approved, and must be returned complete with original documentation, accessories and packaging in original condition or additional restocking charges will be levied at our discretion. New unopened merchandise returned within 30 days will receive a full refund less our shipping costs. Merchandise that has been opened but is complete can be sold as new will be assessed a 15% restocking charge. Merchandise that has been installed, used, marred, altered, or damaged can not be returned. Our money back guarantee does not include freight charges to or from our office. We will deduct the actual freight cost incurred to ship your order, from your return. Special orders, software, batteries, cables, etc., are not eligible for credit or refund.

We will not be responsible to the loss or damage of returned item(s) by couriers.

DEFECTIVE RETURNS & WARRANTY

Please fill out a return request form and provide the part number, serial number, date of purchase and invoice number to receive a return authorization (RMA) number prior to returning any defective merchandise. Returns sent back without authorization will be returned to the sender. Defective product will be repaired or replaced with a similar model.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

We offer free technical support on product purchased directly from EcoNet. For products purchased from other resellers or other online stores, please provide product details of the technical issue and we will do our best to help or point you in the right direction.

Our free technical support is meant to help answer initial set-up questions and configuration issues. We reserve the right to limit technical support at our sole discretion and where we feel the customer/installer requires more support than we can provide in a reasonable time by telephone, email or video instructions.
